Job Description
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other project documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to determine project scopes and requirements.
- Identify and evaluate potential cost-saving measures and value engineering opportunities.
- Maintain and update cost databases to ensure accurate and current pricing information.
- Prepare and present detailed cost reports to stakeholders and management teams.
- Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and tender submissions.
- Monitor project budgets and ensure alignment with initial estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and reliable resources.

The Successful Applicant
A Successful Estimator Should Have
- 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating
- Strong experience with ground-up construction projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience working across commercial sectors (education, municipal, retail, or mixed-use preferred)
- Proficiency in estimating software and strong Excel capability
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Driven, ambitious mindset with a desire for career progression
