Job Description
- Manage day‑to‑day project execution and serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, field teams, and clients.
- Run RFIs, submittals, change orders, project schedules, budgets, and buyout processes.
- Coordinate closely with Superintendents and project staff across multiple active projects.
- Support adaptive reuse projects requiring strong understanding of grading, utilities, and sitework (highly valued).
- Participate in preconstruction efforts, scope reviews, and subcontractor outreach.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure timely communication across all stakeholders.
- Represent the company professionally in client meetings, site visits, and community interactions.
- Contribute to the collaborative culture by being flexible, positive, and solution‑oriented.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Commercial Construction Project Manager Should Have
- 3-8 years of commercial construction experience (combined APM PM responsibilities).
- Strong preference for candidates with local Charlotte market experience, someone who knows the subs, inspectors, permitting processes, and project flow in the region.
- Background in:
