Description

The CMM Programmer/Quality Engineer - Plastics Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes for plastic components.
• Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for dimensional inspection.
• Utilize vision systems for automated inspection and quality verification.
• Analyze inspection data and generate detailed reports to support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and customer specifications.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.

Profile

The ideal CMM Programmer / Quality Engineer -Plastics Manufacturing will have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in CMM programming (PC-DMIS or similar software preferred).
• Hands-on experience with vision systems for quality inspection.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and dimensional inspection principles.
• Familiarity with plastics manufacturing processes and materials.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
