Our client is a global financial services organisation supporting trading and pre-trade technology across international markets. The role is based in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with regular interaction across global teams.
This role is on site in a hybrid capactiy three days a week. Candidate must be local to the NYC area for on site interviews in NYC.
Job Description
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for trading platforms and real-time applications.
- Evaluate business processes within securities financing and equities to identify optimisation opportunities.
- Produce detailed functional specifications and use cases to guide development teams.
- Act as a liaison between business, development, and global stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Support testing, validation, and user adoption of new system features while providing ongoing user support
The Successful Applicant
- 5-9 years' experience as a Business Analyst within financial services, ideally in trading or front-office environments.
- Strong understanding of equities and global securities financing markets.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and familiarity with FIX messaging.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in agile environments with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $81 to $100 per hour on a W2 basis.
- Candidate must be eligible to work on a W2 basis.
