Job Description

• Develop and maintain applications using core Java and JEE technologies, including JDBC and JAXB.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement technical solutions.
• Utilize Python, Perl, and Unix shell scripting to support development and maintenance tasks.
• Conduct testing to ensure the functionality and reliability of applications.
• Provide application support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution as needed.
• Optimize application performance and ensure adherence to best practices in coding and development.
• Contribute to the enhancement of existing systems and processes.
• Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive records of development activities.

A successful AVP, Application Development & Support (Java) should have:

• Proficient knowledge and hands-on experience with core Java and JEE technologies such as JDBC and JAXB.
