Job Description

The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for:

• Supervising daily on-site construction activities to ensure project timelines are met.
• Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to maintain smooth workflows.
• Monitoring and enforcing safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
• Reviewing project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
• Assisting in resolving any on-site issues or challenges that arise during construction.
• Tracking project progress and reporting updates to project managers.
• Ensuring all tools, materials, and equipment are used efficiently and properly maintained.

A Successful Assistant Superintendent Should Have

• Proven experience in the property construction industry, specifically in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in safety standards and best practices.
