Job Description
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of water and wastewater treatment construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to maintain project timelines.
- Resolve any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction processes and practices.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager should have:
- Experience with heavy civil, utility, concrete, bridge, or large infrastructure work preferred but not required
- Interest in environmental construction and treatment facility projects
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and willingness to work closely with field and office teams
- Procore and other construction software are preferred
- Must be able to work onsite in the Torrington, CT office
