Job Description
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of public construction projects valued at $50M.
- Collaborate with project managers to monitor project schedules and budgets.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, contractors, and team members to ensure project alignment.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and reports.
- Support procurement processes, including vendor selection and materials purchasing.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on-site.
- Identify and address potential project risks or delays proactively.
- Contribute to the preparation and delivery of project presentations and updates.

The Successful Applicant
The Assistant Project Manager Will Be Responsible For
- 1-5 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Preferred project background: Ground-up or renovation experience on projects $20M , ideally within public, academic, or K-12 construction.
- Education: An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Technical Skills: Experience using Procore or other construction management software.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must be commutable to Waltham, MA. No hybrid/remote options available.
