Assistant Interiors Superintendent

This role oversees high-quality interior construction projects across corporate, retail and commercial spaces throughout the DC metro region. You'll lead site operations end-to-end, working with experienced teams on fast-paced, negotiated work.

Description

The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for:

• Managing all on-site activities for interior construction projects from start to finish.
• Coordinating subcontractors, inspections and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Enforcing safety standards and maintaining a clean, organized job site.
• Reviewing drawings and specifications to ensure work meets quality expectations.
• Communicating daily with project managers, clients and trade partners.
• Tracking progress and proactively resolving field issues.
• Overseeing punch lists, closeout and final turnover.

Profile

A successful Assistant Superintendent should have:

• 5 years of experience in construction, with true interiors project exposure.
• Background delivering corporate office, retail or restaurant interiors.
• Strong understanding of interior build-outs, sequencing and finishes.
• Comfortability commuting to project sites throughout the Beltway.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and maintain schedules.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
