We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee a portfolio of affordable housing development projects. This individual will play a critical role in optimizing asset performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting long-term financial and operational goals.
- Manage and optimize the performance of property assets within the portfolio.
- Develop and implement asset strategies to maximize value and returns.
- Monitor property-level budgets, financial statements, and capital improvement plans.
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC, HUD, and other affordable housing program requirements.
- Collaborate with property management teams to ensure operational efficiency.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for investment and growth.
- Support the acquisition and disposition processes of property assets.
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, lenders, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the property industry.
Profile
Experience: 5-10 years in asset management, property management, or related roles within affordable housing or affordable-adjacent sectors (e.g., workforce housing, mixed-income developments).
- Strong understanding of affordable housing programs, including LIHTC compliance and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven ability to analyze financial performance and implement strategies for improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, or related field (Master's preferred but not required).
