Overview
We are seeking a motivated and personable individual to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for jewelry, and the ability to create a memorable shopping experience for clients. This role involves engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and driving sales through effective communication. This position will also serve a key role in repair department customer service. The Jewelry Consultant will play a key role in maintaining an attractive merchandise presentation and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Assist clients in selecting jewelry pieces that meet their preferences and needs
- Manage POS transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain visual merchandising standards
- Perform stock replenishment, inventory checks, and merchandising tasks regularly
- Analyze and price jewelry for needed repairs, perform jewelry clean and checks as well as change watch batteries
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in jewelry or luxury retail environments
- Strong communication skills, professional phone etiquette, and excellent customer service abilities
- Part-time position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
