Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food and beverage orders in a timely manner
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and give correct change
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Prepare simple food items for take out orders. Run food out to dine-in customers
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment
- Manage customer orders efficiently using food service customer order management systems and ensure quick service delivery
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong food service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as MarginEdge, Shift 4, or similar platforms
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Effective communication skills to engage with customers and team members positively
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory levels
