A Miami law firm is seeking an experienced full-time Paralegal to assist attorneys and clients with probate, trust, and guardianship cases. Our ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in guardianship, estate administration, and litigation. We want someone who is well organized, takes pride in their work, and can work independently.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing all cases from start to finish, ensuring all deadlines are met
- Preparing probate pleadings
- Drafting correspondence and estate planning documents
- Organizing, marshaling, and analyzing asset information
- Valuing assets
- Preparing inventories, asset allocation agreements, and asset transfer documents
- Gathering information from bank, brokerage, and other financial statements
- Recording documents and deeds with courts and E-Filing
- Providing legal support to attorneys
- Proofreading all documents and correspondence for accuracy
- Maintaining client files, including preparing documents for signing
- Communicating with clients professionally
