Probate Paralegal

A Miami law firm is seeking an experienced full-time Paralegal to assist attorneys and clients with probate, trust, and guardianship cases. Our ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in guardianship, estate administration, and litigation. We want someone who is well organized, takes pride in their work, and can work independently.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing all cases from start to finish, ensuring all deadlines are met
• Preparing probate pleadings
• Drafting correspondence and estate planning documents
• Organizing, marshaling, and analyzing asset information
• Valuing assets
• Preparing inventories, asset allocation agreements, and asset transfer documents
• Gathering information from bank, brokerage, and other financial statements
• Recording documents and deeds with courts and E-Filing
• Providing legal support to attorneys
• Proofreading all documents and correspondence for accuracy
• Maintaining client files, including preparing documents for signing
• Communicating with clients professionally

• Maintaining client files, including preparing documents for signings • Communicating with clients in a professional manner

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
