Job Title: Senior Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for air conditioning, appliances, drywall, electrical, climate control systems, painting, plumbing, and pressure washing.

Essential Job Functions

• Repair, replace or install:
• Faucets, pipes, hot water tanks, toilets related items
• Power switches, fuses, wall sockets, ceiling lights, ceiling fans, climate control systems and drywall
• Major household appliances, such as refrigerators, range ovens, hot water tanks, and air conditioners
• Painting and carpentry as needed
• Maintaining a tidy appearance in the leasing office and common areas
• Manage all maintenance request in a timely manner.
• Monitor and maintain office equipment; inventory supplies and order replacement supplies, as needed
• Unit turnover
• Other related duties as assigned
  

Education

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
  
  

Experience

• Five (5) years maintenance experience, in an apartment building, condo, or High-rise preferred
• Journeyman experience preferred
  
  

Licenses/Certifications

• Environmental Protection Agency certification preferred
  
  

Abilities Required

• Good customer service skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance
• Ability to use power tools
• Ability to stand for long periods of time without assistance
• Ability to crawl into small or tight spaces and climb a ladder
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently
• Ability to work independently or with others

• Outside environmental conditions - Fumes, dusts, mists, or gases may affect the respiratory system or the skin
• Intermittent noise to cause marked distraction or difficulty hearing other sounds
