Busy Hematology / oncology practice seeking a self motivated, hard working, detail oriented person for the PreCertification/Authorization of chemotherapy medicines
Job description includes:
Obtaining pre-authorizations/pre-certification for medicines from insurance requirements
ensures authorization information is documented appropriately in the system.
Ability to understand and communicate insurance co-pays, deductibles, co-insurances, and out of pocket expenses with staff and patients, must be bilingual
Working with team on staying current with insurance requirements for pre-authorization
Medical terminology required
Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks
Must be efficient and Bilingual in Spanish and English
Applicant must be professional, hard working, dedicated, punctual, self motivated and compassionate towards patients' needs.
