What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Assistant position at Miami Gardens Police Department?
This is advanced executive administrative support work performed for the Chief of Police and/or Police Administrator within the Police Department. Performs a wide variety of complex and confidential secretarial, administrative, and clerical duties requiring a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and independent judgment.
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent with four (4) years of advanced secretarial or administrative experience. Experience in a law enforcement or municipality setting preferred. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is desirable. Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record throughout employment. Applicants selected for employment will be required to successfully complete a polygraph examination and extensive background investigation.
