Position Overview
Miami FC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Partnerships Intern to support the team in developing, servicing, and executing partnerships with local, regional, and national brands.
This internship provides hands-on experience in the business of professional sports, with exposure to sponsorship sales, partner activation, marketing, hospitality, research, and matchday operations. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, eager to learn, and interested in pursuing a career in sports business, marketing, sales, or partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Support
- Assist the Corporate Partnerships team with day-to-day partner needs and communications.
- Help track partnership deliverables and ensure assets are completed accurately and on time.
- Assist with preparing partner recap reports, presentations, pitch decks, and activation materials.
- Research prospective partners and gather relevant company, marketing, and sponsorship information.
Activation & Matchday Support
- Assist with the planning and execution of partner activations at Miami FC matches and community events.
- Support on-site sponsor activations, giveaways, signage, hospitality, and promotional elements.
- Assist with capturing photos, tracking activation execution, and documenting partner presence for recap purposes.
Sales & Business Development
- Research potential corporate partners and identify brands that align with Miami FC’s audience and community.
- Assist in creating customized sponsorship concepts and sales presentations.
Cross Department Support
- Provide support across areas such as marketing, community outreach, matchday operations, ticketing, communications, and events.
- Assist with additional projects and duties as assigned to support the overall goals of Miami FC.
Qualifications
- Current college student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Business, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Strong interest in professional sports and the sports business industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to Miami FC matches, events, and community initiatives as needed.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to work select Miami FC matchdays, events, and occasional evenings/weekends.
