Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing transactions efficiently while handling cash and credit payments securely.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down events such as banquets or catering functions, ensuring all food safety protocols are followed.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively through excellent time management skills, ensuring prompt service during busy hours.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment like a nightclub or restaurant setting.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet environments.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously without compromising service quality.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and billing accuracy.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, proper food handling techniques, and alcohol serving regulations.
- Experience with catering events or banquet service is a plus; knowledge of brewing or beverage preparation is desirable.
