Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electro Mechanical Technician role based in Miami, FL. The Electro Mechanical Technician will perform daily equipment inspections, adjustments, and repairs to ensure safe, reliable operation of production and packaging machinery. Responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, replacing or repairing faulty components, and documenting work performed. The role involves collaborating with production teams to minimize downtime, supporting equipment changeovers, and following safety, food safety, and quality standards. The technician will also assist with equipment installations, continuous improvement projects, and maintaining an organized, compliant maintenance workspace.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance to ensure reliable operation of production and packaging equipment.
- Proficiency in Corrective Maintenance and Troubleshooting to quickly diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Foundational knowledge of Electricity and electromechanical systems, including reading basic diagrams and safely working with power-driven equipment.
- Previous experience in an industrial, food processing, or manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to follow written procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with production, quality, and other maintenance team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, electromechanical technology, or a related field is a plus.
- Willingness to work on-site in Miami, FL, including occasional overtime, weekends, or shifts as business needs require.
