Career Growth & Schedule Flexibility
We are currently hiring for part-time and per diem positions. However, team members have a clear opportunity to transition into full-time roles during or after their 90-day probationary period, based on outstanding performance, patient feedback, and clinic business needs.
Core Responsibilities
- Clinical Triage: Accurately measure and record patient vitals, including height, weight, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, temperature, and respiratory rates.
- Provider Assistance & Procedures: Assist physicians with medical procedures. This includes starting IVs, drawing blood, administering injections, performing EKG/ECGs, and running on-site labs.
- Specimen Processing: Properly handle and process specimens for Labcorp, Quest, and Vanta Diagnostics.
- Facility Standards: Prepare and sanitize exam rooms to ensure a clean, comfortable, and compliant environment for patients.
- Administrative Cross-Training: Support the front desk operations as needed. This includes utilizing our systems to look up insurance benefits, verify eligibility, determine copay/deductible information, and ensure all patient demographic data is perfectly accurate.
- Patient Advocacy: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every patient feels welcomed, heard, and cared for during their visit.
Qualifications & Candidate Ranking
- Mandatory: You must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
- Top Priority Candidates: Applicants with established IV experience will heavily outrank those without it.
- Experience vs. Training: Prior medical experience is strongly preferred. However, we are willing to invest in and train the right candidate through our internal MBUC University platform if you can demonstrate exemplary administrative skills, a rapid ability to learn, and an impeccable work ethic.
- Bonus Qualifications: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus, as it helps us better serve our local community!
