Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Bartender role based in Miami Beach, FL. The Bartender will prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation. This role includes greeting guests, taking orders, providing menu recommendations, and delivering attentive, friendly service at the bar and surrounding areas. Daily responsibilities involve setting up and breaking down the bar, handling cash and card payments accurately, maintaining a clean and organized bar environment, and adhering to all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations. The Bartender will collaborate closely with barbacks, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and a positive guest experience, while promoting hotel offerings and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills, with the ability to engage guests in a courteous, professional, and inclusive manner.
- Hands-on experience in Bartending and Food & Beverage service, including knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Accurate Cash Handling abilities, including operating POS systems, processing payments, and managing tabs and receipts.
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service, local regulations, and basic bar safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or high-end bar or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry bar supplies as needed.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., responsible alcohol service or food handler certification) are a plus.
