Isla Bella Beach Resort is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and guest-focused Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team.
This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while preparing and serving cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages in a luxury resort environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced atmosphere, enjoys creating memorable guest interactions, and takes pride in providing elevated hospitality and service.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, attentive, and personalized service to guests at all times
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter orders into the POS system
- Build rapport with guests and create a welcoming, engaging bar atmosphere
- Maintain extensive knowledge of beverage menus, ingredients, garnishes, and preparation methods
- Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure the bar is properly set up, clean, organized, and fully stocked before, during, and after service
- Complete side work including stocking liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, fruit, and supplies
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to leadership
- Ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with state laws and resort standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout all bar areas
- Assist fellow team members as needed to support efficient operations and exceptional guest service
- Minimum of 1 year of bartending experience required; luxury resort or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage preparation techniques
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must meet state minimum age requirements to serve alcohol
- TIPS certification or equivalent preferred (or ability to obtain upon hire)
