What You'll Do
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, suites, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
- Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical handling protocols
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, dust surfaces, and sanitize bathrooms to ensure pristine conditions
- Manage heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or large supplies with proper manual handling techniques
- Maintain cleanliness standards by following hotel housekeeping management procedures and sanitation guidelines
- Use specialized cleaning equipment for industrial cleaning tasks and floor care to preserve the hotel’s aesthetic appeal
- Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns, ensuring guest and staff safety at all times
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of hospitality standards
- Expertise in floor cleaning, care, and maintenance using various cleaning equipment and techniques
- Knowledge of chemical agent handling, sanitation practices, and safety data sheets (SDS) compliance
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and moving supplies or furniture
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members
