Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Shift Supervisor at Anastasia and Katie’s Coffee Shop & Cafe, located in Livonia, MI. The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily coffee shop operations, including staff supervision, customer service, and inventory management. The role entails guiding and mentoring employees with I/DD, practicing and promoting inclusive leadership, maintaining a welcoming environment for staff and customers, and ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are followed. Other duties include tracking sales, managing schedules, and providing support during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in team supervision, mentoring, and staff development
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Time management, organizational, and decision-making abilities
- Experience in food service or retail operations, including cash handling
- Understanding and experience working with individuals with Disabilities (I/DD) or a background in promoting inclusivity is a plus
- Problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Flexibility to work variable shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
