Kitchen Staff – Full-Time | Mi Rancho Humble | Nights & Weekends Required
Mi Rancho in Humble is looking for dependable and hardworking Kitchen Staff to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, takes pride in food quality and cleanliness, and works well as part of a team.
Pay: $13–$17 per hour, based on experience
Consistent overtime hours available.
Full-time availability is required, including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, portioning, assembling ingredients, and plating dishes
- Prepare food according to Mi Rancho quality and presentation standards
- Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen workstations, utensils, equipment, and storage areas
- Follow proper food handling, food safety, and sanitation procedures
- Assist with stocking and organizing kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods to ensure orders are prepared accurately and efficiently
- Assist with food running and other restaurant duties as needed
- Safely lift, carry, and move food products, supplies, and equipment
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with cooks, servers, managers, and other team members
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen, restaurant, or food service experience is preferred, but not required
- Must be available to work full-time, including nights and weekends
- Comfortable working overtime hours on a consistent basis
- Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling practices is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to safely lift and move kitchen supplies and food products
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and food quality
