Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies
- Support food running and serving duties to ensure timely delivery of orders to guests
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when moving supplies or equipment
- Buss tables and clear dishes promptly to maintain a tidy dining environment
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and guest transactions
- Support banquet events by preparing and serving food in a professional manner
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs
- Uphold guest services standards by providing friendly, in-person customer service with a positive attitude
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with food handling, safety standards, and basic kitchen operations is advantageous
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and manual handling safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role
- Prior banquet or hospitality experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key
