The Licensed Therapist provides addiction and mental health treatment to at-risk individuals experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. They use various approaches including therapy, skills training, and family systems perspectives to support recovery. The Therapist may conduct assessments, provide crisis intervention, and train staff. The job may require flexible hours.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Education: Master’s Degree
Defined Education: Behavioral Science field
Years’ Experience: Two (2) years
Defined Experience: Mental Health services
License/Certifications: In good standing in the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Work (LMSW), Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFT-A)
