What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Therapist position at MHMR of Tarrant County?

As a Licensed Therapist, you’ll provide assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning and therapeutic support for children, adolescents and adults facing serious emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges. You’ll work with individuals who need strong clinical guidance and compassionate support during some of the most critical moments in their lives.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with families, caregivers and community resources to create meaningful, client-centered care plans that promote stability, independence and long-term success. You’ll also support individuals transitioning from residential treatment centers, psychiatric facilities, state hospitals or involvement with the justice system- helping them move toward healthier futures and avoid out -of -home placement. Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education: Master’s Degree
Defined Education: Health and Human Services, Behavioral Science, or related field
Preferences: Bilingual
Years’ Experience: Two (2) years
Defined Experience: Mental Health Services, Health and Human Services, research or academic setting
License/Certifications: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
