What this role is all about:
We are looking for an Inventory Control Specialist in New Lisbon, WI and Tomah, WI.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, day shift hours
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for assisting management in overseeing and optimizing inventory levels to ensure accurate stock counts and efficient supply chain operations. This role involves tracking inventory movements, conducting regular audits, investigating discrepancies, and working closely with other departments to maintain inventory accuracy.
Job Duties:
- Conduct inventory analysis to solve inventory issues.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
- Rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.
- Perform daily physical cycle counts.
- Follow all mandated security procedures and process requirements.
- Adjust inventory in ERP system as appropriate.
- Respond to questions via e-mail, telephone or in person.
- Check back with production for accurate documentation of product quantities and lot information.
- Balance warehouse counts with system inventory.
- Maintain spreadsheets to support other departments.
- Record items taken from inventory and note when orders were filled.
- Prepare invoices and furnish information about shipments to other parts of the company, such as the accounting department.
- Compute amounts, such as space available, and shipping, storage, and demurrage charges, using calculator or price list.
- Prepare and process production blend sheets and recap records.
- Create recaps and allocate sales orders for toll customers
- Remove ship invoices and quantities from accounting/inventory system.
- Finalize production blend sheets and recap records, ensuring accuracy of the cost of finished work orders. This includes verifying that the proper raw materials were consumed into the order and ensuring the accuracy of the labor and run time entered into production work orders.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and provide documentation for any material adjustments.
- Manage all aspects of retail label inventory, including but not limited to: pulling labels for production, maintaining accurate inventory, and post-run reconciliation.
- Responsible for coordinating the appropriate method of disposal of products/materials that are earmarked as non-salable.
- Responsible for 1 manufacturing location.
- Serve on committees and attend meetings for process improvement, MRP, production planning, and warehouse support as applicable.
- Update knowledge on a continuing basis.
- Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Safety Protocol:
- Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
- Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
- Support safety policies and programs.

Qualifications:
Education Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Experience Required:
- Minimum one (1) years of experience in inventory control preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) computer systems preferred.
Certification/Licensure Required:
- Forklift/Inventory Access Lift certification (we will train)
