Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving processes.
- Oversee staff training, development, and performance management to ensure high-quality customer service and adherence to company policies.
- Manage shift schedules, assign duties, and monitor team productivity to optimize workflow during busy hours.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; oversee cash handling procedures.
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards to uphold health department requirements.
- Lead food production efforts, including overseeing food handling, preparation, and presentation in both casual dining and fast food environments.
- Manage customer service issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and operational planning to improve overall restaurant performance.
- Support marketing initiatives such as catering or banquet services when applicable.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants; supervisory or assistant manager experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required.
- Experience in inventory control, food safety standards, and food industry regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and develop staff effectively.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while maintaining high operational standards.
- Previous experience in casual dining or fine dining environments is a plus; banquet or catering experience is advantageous.
