What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Inspector position at MHC Due Diligence Partners?
Position Overview
We are hiring an Onsite Audit Analyst to join a growing, entrepreneurial company focused on uncovering the truth for our clients. This is a boots-on-the-ground role for people who enjoy travel and who want to be part of building something.
We are still growing, refining, and improving how we operate. That means we’re looking for team members who don’t just follow instructions, but who bring ideas, take ownership, and want to be part of shaping the future of the company.
The role blends fieldwork, investigation, and analysis. You’ll spend time on properties, documenting conditions and risks, and time turning that information into clear, defensible audit reports. Speed matters — but quality and accuracy always come first.
What the Job Looks Like
This is a field-based investigative role. Most days include travel to properties, walking communities, taking photos and drone imagery, and documenting what you see. You’ll also spend focused time organizing images, completing reports, and making sure every finding is backed by geolocated images.
You are responsible for your audits end-to-end — from preparation, to onsite execution, to final submission. There is structure and an SOP to follow, but there is also room (and expectation) for judgment, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
As the company grows, this role will evolve. Strong performers will have opportunities to help improve processes, train others, and take on more responsibility over time.
