Property Inspector

MHC Due Diligence Partners
Fort Worth, TX Full Time
POSTED ON 1/2/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 5/1/2026

Position Overview

We are hiring an Onsite Audit Analyst to join a growing, entrepreneurial company focused on uncovering the truth for our clients. This is a boots-on-the-ground role for people who enjoy travel and who want to be part of building something.

We are still growing, refining, and improving how we operate. That means we’re looking for team members who don’t just follow instructions, but who bring ideas, take ownership, and want to be part of shaping the future of the company.

The role blends fieldwork, investigation, and analysis. You’ll spend time on properties, documenting conditions and risks, and time turning that information into clear, defensible audit reports. Speed matters — but quality and accuracy always come first.

What the Job Looks Like

This is a field-based investigative role. Most days include travel to properties, walking communities, taking photos and drone imagery, and documenting what you see. You’ll also spend focused time organizing images, completing reports, and making sure every finding is backed by geolocated images.

You are responsible for your audits end-to-end — from preparation, to onsite execution, to final submission. There is structure and an SOP to follow, but there is also room (and expectation) for judgment, curiosity, and continuous improvement.

As the company grows, this role will evolve. Strong performers will have opportunities to help improve processes, train others, and take on more responsibility over time.

What Success Looks Like

  • Audits completed on time, in full, and without missing documentation
  • Zero loose ends — every finding is supported with proof
  • Reports that withstand scrutiny from clients, investors, and legal teams
  • Efficient site execution without cutting corners
  • Consistent adherence to SOP standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Comfortable working independently in the field
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to walk properties and work outdoors for extended periods
  • Technically capable and eager to learn new tools, including: 360° cameras and field imaging equipment, drones and aerial mapping software (training provided), Computer-based reporting platforms, file management, and photo annotation
  • Confident using mobile devices, apps, and cloud-based systems
  • Willingness to travel overnight for multiple days
  • FAA Part 107 Drone License (preferred or willing to obtain)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Work Environment

  • Field-based role with frequent travel
  • Mix of outdoor inspections, driving, walking, and technology use
  • Week-long trips with multiple sites

Compensation & Incentive Plan

  • Base salary: $50,000 - $80,000 depending on experience, expertise, and travel willingness (minimum 30 weeks of travel expected)
  • Safety & Equipment Care Bonus: annual bonus based on careful handling of equipment, drones, and field tools, plus adherence to safety protocols
  • Additional performance incentives may be considered based on quality and accuracy, but primary structure is base safety/equipment bonus
