Duties

• Safely operate your own vehicle, including box trucks or similar commercial vehicles, to transport medical items between facilities.
• Load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques, ensuring proper weight distribution and safe lifting practices.
• Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients upon delivery or pickup.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery confirmation records.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Handle heavy or bulky items with proper equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary, following safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier,
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Use your own vehicle: Cargo Vans Needed!!!!!!!!!!!!! , Cars welcome
• Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial driving and weight handling in the workplace.
• Excellent customer service skills with professional communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills for managing deliveries efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
• Courier Contractor and enjoy the independence of managing your own schedule while making a meaningful difference in healthcare logistics!

Pay: $500.00 - $800.00 per week
