Position: Full-Time or Part-Time Cannabis Budtender / Customer Service – Retail Specialist
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
Location: Greenlight Therapeutics, Gambrills, MD
Store Hours: Monday–Saturday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM | Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Weekend and holiday availability is mandatory. Shifts may vary based on store needs.
About Us
Greenlight Therapeutics is a fully licensed cannabis dispensary in Gambrills, MD. We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Budtender to assist with in-store and curbside orders, deliver exceptional customer service, and support daily dispensary operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail or customer service
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle a high volume of customers efficiently
- Quick learner with the ability to understand procedures and acquire product knowledge
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Proficient with computers, including email and basic operations
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative
- Reliable and punctual for every scheduled shift
- Thorough attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of the cannabis industry, including local and state laws and regulations (MCA, COMAR)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Provide face-to-face assistance to customers/patients, ensuring a positive and professional experience
- Efficiently and accurately fulfill online, in-store, and curbside orders
- Deliver exceptional customer service and offer constructive solutions to challenges or concerns from customers/patients
- Monitor customer/patient flow and maintain appropriate staff-to-customer ratios on the sales floor
- Ensure inventory management, product restocking, and merchandising are consistently executed
- Answer and direct phone calls, including managing curbside pickup inquiries
- Process transactions accurately, including cash and POS system operations
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards to maintain a secure and safe work and shopping environment
- Educate customers/patients on products, usage, and consumption methods
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work station and overall work environment
- Assist other team members and leadership with daily operational tasks, including cleaning, restocking, and merchandising
- Complete additional assignments or tasks as directed by management
