MGR Accounting Recruiters and Advisory is partnering with a growing construction company seeking an experienced Controller to join their leadership team.
Location: Far Northeast San Antonio Area (New Braunfels / San Marcos Corridor)
Work Arrangement: Full-Time, In-Office
Direct Hire Opportunity
What You'll Do:
- Lead all accounting and financial operations for the organization
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures
- Collaborate with executive leadership to support strategic business decisions
- Manage and mentor accounting staff
- Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Qualifications:
✅ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
✅ 5 years of progressive accounting leadership experience
✅ Recent Controller experience
✅ Construction industry accounting experience required
✅ Strong understanding of job costing, WIP reporting, and project accounting
✅ Advanced Excel skills
✅ Proven leadership and communication abilities
