The Opportunity
MGO is seeking an experienced Tax Senior Manager to join our growing Core Tax practice based in Irvine, CA. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Partners to manage complex tax engagements, mentor teams, and deliver exceptional service to individuals and businesses involved in a variety of industries .
Key Responsibilities
- Review and prepare individual, partnership, and S-Corp tax returns
Extensive experience with pass-through entities strongly preferred
Supervise multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery
- Serve as a primary client contact, including representation before tax authorities
- Research complex tax matters and clearly communicate recommendations
- Develop and mentor staff across technical and leadership capabilities
- Identify opportunities to expand services and strengthen client relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
- CPA required
Proficient in S-Corp, Partnership, and individual taxation
Previous experience supervising and training Staff and Seniors preferred
- Proven leadership, project management, and client advisory skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal abilities

Compensation: $155,000 - $190,000 Bonus programs
