THE STARTING RATE: $22.05 per hour
The Day-to-day
- Apply culinary techniques and maintain solid knowledge of food products and menu items.
- Safely use kitchen equipment and restock supplies and food items as needed.
- Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation.
- Focus on plate presentation and assist with the execution of service.
- Prepare base sauces, stocks, and soups as required.
- Collaborate as a team to meet guest needs and inquiries.
- 1-2 years of Restaurant Cooking experience in a similar environment is preferred
- Knowledge of knives and knife skills, standard kitchen equipment and supplies, including, but not limited to toasters, refrigerators, coolers, slicers, beverage machines, Cryovac machine and smallwares is preferred
- Able and willing to work Part-Time schedule, 24-30 hours per week including weekends and holidays. TAP Hours of Operation: Sun & Thu: 11a-11p, Mon-Wed 4p-11p, Fri-Sat 11a-12am. Must be willing to come in earlier and when location is closed to accommodate business needs.
