The Job

As a Cook, you will be responsible for setting the stage for an excellent guest experience by using your culinary techniques. You’ll provide high-quality food to guests from all over the world. In your role, you will partner with front-of-house staff to create WOW memories that the guests will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

The Day-to-day

• Maintain solid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniques.
• Identify and safely use kitchen equipment.
• Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service.
• Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation.
• Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation.
• Assist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of service.
• Maintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups.
• Work as a team, assist all guests needs and inquiries.
  
  

The Ideal Candidate

• Prior experience as a Cook.
• Must be available to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
• Is comfortable in a restaurant kitchen and with the use of culinary tools, equipment, and techniques.
• Takes pride in their work, provides a safe environment, and maintains health standards.
• Able to take direction, multi-task with ease, and works well with a team environment.

Pay Rate

The rate for this role is:

$24.00

This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.

Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.

Employees in this position are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans. Specific program offerings vary by eligibility factors such as geographic location, employment status, and union membership.
