Retail Store Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selections, and ensuring the sales floor is well-maintained. The job will also require a variety of office skills and duties as well as other jobs.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries and selections
• Basic Computer knowledge is required
• Handle customer deposits and payments
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving concerns promptly
• Take customer information and schedule appointments
• Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and inviting at all times
• Perform general office duties

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially specialty stores
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math concepts
• Experience in product demonstrations is advantageous
• Supervising experience is a plus for leadership roles within the team
• Bilingual skills are highly desirable to communicate effectively with diverse customers
• Strong communication skills, phone etiquette, and customer service orientation are essential
• Basic math skills necessary for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations
• Prior office experience is a plus
