Position Summary
MGI is seeking an experienced electrical Superintendent with strong coordination and leadership skills experienced in managing multi-million dollar electrical projects. This role will have you traveling around the U.S., living and working for 1 years on large fire alarm and low voltage projects. MGI is very flexible on travel for top tier supers and will work with you on travel arrangements. This is a career opportunity, not a job hire.
In this role you will be the project owner (MGI is always the Prime) managing all aspects of construction related to fire alarm and low voltage installations. This role includes direct oversight of all on-site personnel and serve as the primary point of contact for federal contracting officers, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring compliance with NFPA, UL, OSHA, and other contract and regulatory standards. Working closely with the PMs and the division VP, this leader will help grow MGI’s revenue, profits, and people.
Skills & Experience Requirements:
- Ability to travel and work for long periods of time out of state.
- 8 years electrical superintendent experience
- Healthcare construction experience (Required)
- Coordination - Proven ability to run complex healthcare projects
- Procore experience
- Effective communicator
- Federal contract experience (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Oversee all on-site personnel, electricians, subcontractors, and vendors etc.
- Collaborate with foremen to drive execution
- Serve as primary contact for contracting officers
- Assist with planning, coordination, and execution initiatives to achieve timely results
- Ensure compliance with national codes and safety standards
- Schedule inspections and maintain documentation for certifications
- Procure materials and control expenses
- Identify risks, resolve issues, and conduct safety audits
- Implement quality control and oversee testing, commissioning, and handover

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
