What are the responsibilities and job description for the Independent Contractor with High top Van or Sprinter REQUIRED position at MGC?
MUST HAVE YOUR OWN HIGH TOP VAN OR SPRINTER
You will be responsible for picking up and hand loading freight. Bringing the freight back to warehouse and unloading. Extremely time sensitive.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to provide updates on delivery status
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
Experience:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers, dispatchers, and team members
- Experience with courier or route driving is a plus
Please note that this position is for an independent contractor. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for providing your own vehicle, insurance, and any necessary permits or licenses.
