MG M The Law Firm (MG M) has an immediate opening for an Associate Attorney with the Design Professionals Practice Group in our New York or New Jersey offices.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist partners with an active litigation caseload, from inception to trial.
- Interface with clients and insurance professionals.
- Assist with preparing witnesses for deposition and trial.
- Retain and work with expert witnesses.
- Prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings.
- Research legal issues and prepare memoranda.
- Draft motions and oppositions and argue same at hearings.
- Assist with negotiating settlements and at mediation.
- Assist with evaluating liability and damages issues and prepare exposure evaluations.
- Trial preparation and support.
- Maintain accurate and timely time records.
- 3 years of experience representing clients in design professional and/or construction litigation.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Must be admitted to practice in New York.
- Experience with written discovery and motion practice.
- Capable of independent work.
- Work in an organized and efficient manner.
- Superior research and writing skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to analyze complex matters.

Salary : $135,000 - $165,000
