What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Investment Operations position at MFM Search LLC?
My client is a $3 trillion global pension fund currently expanding their presence in New York, NY.
The Head of Investment Operations will be a part of the Investment Operations Global Leadership Team. This person will be responsible for ensuring the Investment Operations teams in the US supports the portfolio management and trade and transaction execution activities in the region.
Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure the daily Investment Operations conducted in the New York Office continues to be well managed.
- Ensure appropriate operational capabilities are deployed to support public market and treasury portfolio management activities.
- Ensure appropriate operational capabilities are deployed to support Private Market investments.
- Ensure that Investment Operations activities meet/exceed local US compliance regulations and standards.
- As a member of the Investment Operations Global Leadership Team, contribute to the strategic thinking regarding the Fund’s global operating model.
Key Qualifications:
- Significant experience working at of an Asset Manager or Pension Fund.
- Extensive experience in private market operations or a related area, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership capacity managing global teams.
- Extensive experience with private market systems and vendors.
- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Salary : $400,000 - $480,000
