SUMMARY:
The Clinical Supervisor oversees clinical staff providing community-based mental health and substance abuse services. This role ensures compliance with licensing, documentation, and quality standards, and collaborates with Program Directors on policies, procedures, and training.
DUTIES:
- Provide individual supervision to licensed and unlicensed clinicians
- Monitor caseloads and ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and agency standards
- Review and co-sign documentation as required
- Provide feedback, evaluations, and support to improve clinical performance
- Ensure timely documentation and quality assurance standards
- Communicate performance concerns to Program Director
- Support staff training, development, and goal setting
- Perform additional duties as assigned
POSITION EXPECTATIONS:
- Maintain 60% productivity (billable services)
- Manage caseloads: 10 clients (trainees), 20 clients (interns)
- Complete required trainings on time
- Present recorded sessions in supervision
- Complete notes within 24 hours; submit within 48 hours
- Complete assessments within 2 sessions
- Discharge inactive clients after 30 days
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in a related field with a valid California license (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC)
- Minimum 3 years post-licensure experience
- 2 years supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with substance abuse and community-based care
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and clean driving record

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs
- Use of computer and phone
- Ability to communicate effectively and perform duties safely
Pay: $45.00 per hour
