Branch Operations Associate - Hose & Warehouse Production

Responsible for producing hose assemblies in accordance with order specifications and ensuring that all hose assembly orders and kits are completed and shipped in time to comply with customer’s required dates.

Salary: $20-$25 Hour | DOE

Primary Duties:

• Operate hose assembly and production equipment to cut, crimp, test, package, and prepare hose assemblies and kits in accordance with customer orders, work instructions, and production priorities.
• Read and interpret work orders, hose specifications, assembly instructions, part numbers, and related documentation to determine required materials, equipment setup, production methods, and sequence of operation.
• Set up, adjust, and verify hose production equipment and tooling; obtain required first-piece inspection or lead approval before beginning full production runs, when applicable.
• Inspect completed hose assemblies and kits to confirm accuracy, quality, proper labeling, bagging, tagging, and readiness for shipment; complete or attach required quality assurance and shipping documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration checks, cleaning, and standard troubleshooting on hose assembly equipment and tools to support safe, efficient, and reliable operation.
• Receive, stage, move, and maintain hose, fittings, parts, and related inventory within the Production Center; assist with cycle counts and physical inventory activities as directed.
• Identify material shortages, equipment issues, quality concerns, or nonstandard problems and escalate more complex matters to the Lead Operator, Supervisor, or other appropriate resource.
• Follow all safety procedures, production standards, and housekeeping expectations; participate in training to build proficiency across hose production processes and support continuous improvement.

Education & Work Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

• Excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people and personalities.
• Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; willingness to learn new software programs (Epicor Prophet 21 experience a plus).
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Mechanical aptitude; familiarity with industrial/hydraulic hose and fittings (Parker Hannifin experience a plus) preferred.
• Forklift certification (or ability to become certified) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record (where driving is required).
• Regular, reliable, and punctual on-site attendance required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The essential functions of this position will require the employee to perform the following physical activities:

• Job requires frequent lifting up to 70 pounds.
• Stooping, reaching above shoulder level, pushing, pulling.
• Constantly walking/standing on cement flooring
• Climbing ladders as needed
• Working conditions involve a fast-paced warehouse/branch environment containing moving equipment, fluctuating temperature, and inventory in various storage arrangements.
• Local driving may be required for pickups and deliveries.
