Quality Assurance Technician

Shift- 9:00am to 5:00pm or 10:00am to 6:00pm

The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for performing quality inspections, participating in the PPAP approvals, process improvement projects, as well as helping with administration and maintenance of the ISO system

Some Of The Duties Would Include

• Perform process validations, in-process inspections, and monitoring, analyzing the quality of printing processes and products.
• Create certificate of conformances as needed.
• Identify, support, and help implement process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain the ISO Quality management system including but not limited to:
• NCR routing/processing
• Root cause analysis
• Developing and auditing procedures, work instructions, and/or quality plans
• Create and maintain accurate records of final and in-process inspections. First article, PPAP and data collection.
• Provide performance date for production as needed.
• Ensure all inspection tools are calibrated and properly maintained.
  
  

Some Key Must-haves Are

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 3 years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to create/revise quality documentation to ISO 9001 standards preferred.
• Quality inspection and auditing experience preferred.
• Ability to solve problems, develop, and effectively communicate solutions.
• Experience in PPAP documentation preferred.
• OMM/CMM experience a plus.
  
  
  

Preferred

• Working knowledge and experience in flexographic and screen printing, roll to roll converting and folding carton production.
