This position is crucial in ensuring accurate financial records and timely payments from clients. Youll manage invoicing, collections, and payment tracking, while also helping with administrative tasks such as answering phones. We foster a professional and supportive environment where employees are empowered to grow and succeed as part of a close-knit, mission-driven team.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate records of all incoming payments and financial transactionsGenerate and distribute timely invoices to clientsFollow up with clients on outstanding invoices and resolve any billing or payment issuesReconcile payment discrepancies and ensure all accounts are properly documentedCollaborate with internal accounting staff to ensure consistency across recordsProvide general administrative support, including answering phones and handling basic inquiriesUse Microsoft Excel and Word to manage documents and reportsQualificationsMinimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or accounts payable (preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word (1 year preferred)Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracyExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHigh school diploma or GED required; additional education in accounting is a plusScheduleFull-TimeMonday to Friday40 hours per weekWork LocationOffice located in Pikesville, MDPrimarily office-based with minimal travel requiredEqual Employment Opportunity StatementWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
