We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Receiving & Warehouse Employee to join our team. This position is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, verifying products and quantities, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse.
The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Verify quantities, products, and condition of materials against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items.
- Accurately enter and maintain receiving and inventory records.
- Label, organize, and properly store inventory.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse.
- Perform regular inventory counts.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Follow company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
- Assist with general warehouse duties and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, receiving, shipping, or inventory experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move boxes/materials weighing up to [50] lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems.
- Ability to read packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift experience/certification is a plus.
Pay: $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
