The biotechnology advisor/agent/associate will prepare and prosecute patent applications for clients in the biotechnology industry, including corporations, universities, and research institutions.
This position will perform tasks related to patent prosecution, including:
- drafting patent applications,
- preparing responses to office actions,
- arranging for patentability, infringement, and validity searches, and
- portfolio management.
Must be a registered patent agent or have 2 years of experience in patent drafting.
Advanced degree (PhD) in immunology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, cell biology, or a related area is required.
