Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining end-to-end material flow requirements for both procured and produced products within the assigned value stream. This role supports the Masstron Producing Organization (MTMS) within the METTLER TOLEDO Industrial Division, serving the Vehicle Scale Strategic Business Unit and its global vehicle scale product line. The planner ensures customer demand is met by tactically procuring raw and component materials, developing short- and long-term production schedules, and balancing supply and demand across work centers. Essential responsibilities will include:
- Using SAP and related planning tools to manage material, production, and sales processes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support supply chain strategy and execution
- Developing and maintaining production, inventory, and supply plans for assigned products
- Procuring raw and component materials to support production requirements
- Creating and managing production schedules and long-term capacity plans
- Analyzing data, reviewing forecasts, and identifying opportunities to improve supply and performance
- Managing supplier relationships, supply chain risks, and past due purchase or production orders
- Supporting new product launches, maintaining SAP master data, and executing assigned projects
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in business administration preferred. APICS certification is a plus.
- 2 years of relevant procurement and buying experience.
- SAP modules experience is preferred, and a strong understanding of Excel is required.
- Ability to analyze large amounts of data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, fully onsite.
