What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Coordinator - Repairs & Returns position at Metson Group?
Repairs and returns often involves third party suppliers doing repairs to equipment so material tracking is required from the platform to PHSF and then on to the supplier then back to PHSF and the platform.
The procedures are different than typical inbound materials so these activities are segregated to ensure timely action, tracking and focus.
This Repair & Returns Materials Coordinator plans and coordinates logistics of material or equipment sent to vendors for repairs or returned to the warehouse from the platforms.
Communicates with vendors and platform to ensure efficient movement and on time deliveries.
Documents transfers, locations, movements and shipping documents.
Performs rigging, loading & unloading trucks as needed.
Requires HAZWOPER 8-hour training and certification, first-aid, CPR & AED training certifications and must know hand signals, California Hazardous Waste Management Certification.
